    1. Heat water in a small pot. Once boiled, add matcha powder and mix well to avoid lumps on low heat.
    2. Add dried agar and mix well.
    3. Separately warm soy milk to body temperature. Add to (2) and mix well.
    4. Put (3) into shot glasses, and cool off to room temperature.
    5. Cool in fridge until firm.
    6. Decorate with whipped cream if desired before serving.
    7. FYI - dried agar powder bought at Mitsuwa supermarket (Japanese store) in San Jose.

    I've made this dessert twice and this time placed the pudding in a glass. Repeat with the remaining agar mixture, making sure that you keep both mixtures hot and covered while you wait for it to set. If for whatever reason it has gone cold, you can simply reheat it when you are ready to pour. Mix soy milk and agar-agar and jelly powder in a pot. Cook until just steaming (no need to wait for a boil to prevent burnt milk) while stirring all the time.
