    4. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, pour a ladleful of batter and spread it in circular motion to make a thin uttapam.
    5. Top with a tbsp of prepared toppings and press gently.Using little oil around the uttapam. - cover and cook for a minute or until the base is cooked well.
    6. Cook from one side, turn over and cook from the other side.
    7. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
