    7. Close the pressure cooker and let it cook for one whistle.
    8. Open when pressure is released.
    9. Garnish with coconut and cilantro leaves. Serve hot with pickle, kadhi, yogurt or papad.

    Add the roasted oats to the boiling water, stir well and cook for few minutes. Serve oats khichdi hot or warm with a garnish of chopped coriander leaves.
