    Instructions to make Mix Vatana Chana Sabzi:

    1. Take 225 gms of mix vatana chana
    2. Wash and soak it and keep it overnight. Morning drain the water and wash once and add water and pressure cook it till 5 whistles.
    3. In a grinder add roughly chopped onions, tomatoes,ginger, garlic,coriander seeds,cloves, black peppercorns,jeera and make a smooth paste.
    4. Chop the potatoes and keep aside.In a kadai take oil and add bay leaves and chopped potatoes and cook till it gets brown spots.
    5. Add onion tomato paste,red chilli, kashmiri chilli powder, garam masala, haldi powder and mix well.
    6. Let it cook for 5-7 mins. Add salt to taste and boiled vatana chana to it and mix well. Add water as required.You can pressure cook it till 1 whistle or let it cook on kadai only as vatana chana is already boiled. Cook till it thickens slightly. Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve hot with roti.
