The ingredients needed to make Onion Chutney:
Make ready 4 Onion (Roughly Chopped)
Prepare 6-7 Tablespoon Water
Make ready To taste Salt
Take 1 pinch sugar
Get 5 Tablespoon Mustard oil

Get 5 pieces Tamrind (remove it's seeds)
Get Tempering:
Make ready 1 tsp Panch furan
Get 1 pinch urad dal (dhuli)
Prepare 5 Tablespoon water
Prepare 2 Teaspoon Mustard Oil
Prepare 2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
Get As needed curry leaves
Prepare To taste Dry roasted Masala
Prepare 1 teaspoon Coriander (Sabut) whole
Take 1 teaspoon cumin seeds whole
Prepare 1/2 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds
Make ready 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds whole
Prepare 4 Red chili (dry) remove it's seeds after roasting
Instructions
Steps to make Onion Chutney:
First take a Kadhai and place it on the gas. Turn on the flame then add Oil. When it starts smoke π₯ then add garlic and saute it for few seconds, then add Chopped Onions. Saute it till it's turn it colour to translucent.
Then add tamarind to it and saute it for 1 mins. Then add little water π¦ to it.
Now place another kadhai and roast all dry masala like Coriander seeds, cumin seeds, Fennel seeds. After roasting all at last add red chilli and roast it for few seconds and turn off the flame.
Wait the masala to cool it completely. Now take a mixi jar and grind all cooked masala and dry masala and add salt to it and grind it properly to make a smooth paste.
Tempering: take a Kadhai add oil. When oil start smoking then add panch furan, urad dal, curry leaves. Wait for it to cracks. Then add kashmiri red chilli powder. Then add all grinded masala to it, add little more water to it and cook it in Medium flame for 5 mins. Till it's all water π¦ evaporate.
Cool it completely and serve. You can store it also.
