    2. Also, saute 1 tomato till they turn soft and mushy. Add vegetables like 2 tbsp peas, ¼ carrot, potato, beans. saute for a minute. Now add ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp garam masala and 1 tsp salt. saute on low flame.
    3. Furthermore, add ½ cup rice and ½ cup moong dal. Saute for a minute on low flame. Now pour 3¼ cup water and 2 tbsp coriander leaves. mix well. Cover and pressure cook for 5 whistles on medium flame. Finally, serve masala khichdi with pomegranate raita and pickle.
